Reclaimed Space / Oaxaca III
This colorful monotype was inspired by warm desert sunshine, brightly painted buildings, and the streets of Oaxaca, Mexico. A leafy plant pattern overlaps a crumbling city building in bright yellow, blue, teal, and pink ink.
Medium: Risograph and screenprint monotype
Edition: There is only one of this piece
About Risograph printing: Risograph is a process similar to screenprinting, where an image is exposed onto a screen which allows it to be printed using soy-based ink onto paper. This process allows for more detail to come through, making photorealistic printing more achievable than with screenprinting.
