ARTIST STATEMENT
I use various printmaking processes to apply ink to paper, and then turn my prints into collages. I construct my collages layer by layer, cutting and removing rigid bits and intertwining other printed pieces, playing with color and opacity. By using architectural structures as the base and adding in natural elements like flowers, I explore concepts of home, belonging, and ties to physical spaces.
